Inkspired Community? What's that?
The simple answer—Inkspired Community represents a creative twist on being inspired by lived experiences. And that's exactly what we writers of a certain age are. We're not defined by our age, but we have benefitted enormously by virtue of life-experience, work experience, learning, and connecting. That puts us in a unique position to write about things that are relatable and things that matter.
The founding thinkers of this Substack original came together in Substack NOTES, musing about how the 35,000 over age 60 creators on Substack could come together and support each other's personal quest.
Our membership includes veteran writers with decades of experience in a variety of situations, both print and digital. There are writers with ambitious ideas for maximum use of Medium and Substack's tools and first-time authors puzzling through the learning curve of ever-evolving writing platforms. There are plenty of writers just beginning to focus on their writing.

Inkspired is a community of adults who have lived examined lives, are open to lifelong learning, and love to share experiences and insights with respect, warmth, maybe some humor, and the understanding that everyone's contribution and participation is worthwhile.

You won't find spam, paywalls, subscription fees, or judgment. Guaranteed. No one is here for revenue—we're here to help each other feel satisfied with our writing journey.
You won't find advertising and promotions for courses, classes, videos, run-of-the-mill clickbait, or exploitation of members in any way. We will never sell or publish your private information. We won't spam you with memes and inspirational quotes.

Inkspired Community is a deeply supportive network for maturing writers. A place to discover and get to know new people or connect with long-time friends.
